Windows 7 has a lot of compatibility troubleshooting built in (at least it does in the version I use), and I'd be surprised if Win 8 has any less. Maybe you'll find them on some of the other country websites.

However, looking at it just now on the USA site, Canon only lists through Windows 7, 64 bit at this point in time. Win 8 has just been released, so I'm not surprised it's not working with softwares shipped on the CD with 5DIII.Ĭheck the version of each of the softwares and see if there is a newer version online at your closest Canon website.
